Essential Duties:

The Regional Operations Manager (ROM) oversees all aspects of the operations, distribution and warehouse activities of the company’s remote distribution centers and ensures all orders are completed in a timely & accurate manner, while maintaining Customer Satisfaction. They are also responsible for driving efficiencies in logistics, inventory management and cost in general for each of their locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the hiring, training of all new team members in department
  • Ensure that each team member has received the proper training based on position
  • Completes payroll for all team members as required by Human Resources
  • Authorizes regular and monitors overtime according to company’s guidelines or business acceptable levels.
  • Assures and manage monthly On-Call Calendar along with Saturday schedule to ensure proper coverage
  • Maintain and advise of current laws, codes, regulations to all team members
  • Support and train staff in monthly training workshops
  • Ensure all assigned team members follow TJC required policies as they pertain to their job description
  • Responsible for identifying and documenting issues or problems on assigned staff via consultations and written warnings in a timely manner
  • Completes evaluations and reviews in a timely manner not to exceed the date due
  • Must take and complete HMDR licensing requirement (Home Medical Device Exemptee License)
  • Practice, observe and monitor Department of Health Services laws pertaining to distribution of medical devices
  • Educate and enforce Operation team members on the laws, codes, regulations, i.e. FDA, DOT, and OSHA that pertain to delivery and shipping services, equipment and supplies provided by the company.
  • Maintains a positive, helpful attitude and approach in providing excellent customer service to all customers which includes; Referral Sources, Patients, Clients, Physicians and RAE’s.
  • Handles and communicates to all applicable parties involved when an issue or service failure is identified while documenting any issues in the PI log.
  • Work Open Order report weekly. Looking for signed delivery ticket via DocFlow, Route Sheets, UPS log, Dropship and calling patients if needed to obtain a duplicate signed work order.
  • Oversees and/or performs but are not limited to dispatch, PST functions, prepare daily routes and may perform as lead contact for central dispatcher
  • Assures all team members are practicing and following the Infectious Control Procedures set forth by the company
  • Provides support with the equipment requisition document and obtains approval from Director of Operations prior to ordering
  • Supervises the preventative maintenance and repair records for all company vehicles
  • Conducts the ride along and review PST and RT “in-home” etiquette
  • Supervises all logs to be maintained and current
  • Attends all department meetings, company meetings and in-services as needed
  • Understand and adheres to all of SuperCare Health company policies
  • To remain knowledgeable to date on all products
  • Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment

Education and or Work Experience:

  • Graduate from accredited High School or college
  • Experience with medical supply company, healthcare and medical industry
  • Knowledge of diagnosis and medical terminology
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills with the ability to work in a very fast paced environment; learn new concepts quickly and independently while maintaining effective communications with other team members
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Previous management/supervisor or lead experience
  • Computer literate
