Essential Duties:

Under the general supervision of the Shared Services Manager, the Shared Services Coordinator is responsible for working with all parties inside SuperCare Health and all outside vendors to ensure that tasks assigned are completed in the time frame allotted and to the quality expectation given and to the expectation of SuperCare Health.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact with outsourced resources for claims and posting tasks.
  • Communicate with all parties any and all updates to policy and procedure concerning claims, posting, and mail.
  • Maintain and update weekly stats for Manager
  • Create and maintain a binder with all payer requirements to ensure documentation exists for each payer as applicable.
  • Work with internal and external entities to ensure all claims are being submitted timely and correctly
  • Work with payers to as needed to get them converted from paper to EDI, where applicable
  • Monitoring the batches in piggy for manual and pending posting batches
  • Allocate the work assigned to the outsource team
  • Responsible for daily reconciliation of batches created to posted batches, reporting to manager daily on outstanding balances.
  • Troubleshoot missing EOB’s from payment batches to obtain and resolve, per policy
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Familiarity with current rules and regulations of insurance companies
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills
  • Detail oriented
